HIGH-VOLTAGE MARKETING POWERING DATA-DRIVEN RESULTS

Free Google Ads Audit

Most Google Ads accounts waste 25-40% of their budget on clicks that’ll never convert. Wrong keywords. Bleeding broad match. No conversion tracking. Landing pages that leak like a sieve.

You’re spending money every day wondering if it’s actually working. The dashboard shows clicks—but where are the leads?

I’ll tell you exactly what’s wrong. Free audit. Written report. No pitch, no pressure.

I’ve managed $350K+ in annual Google Ads spend for small businesses across Tampa Bay. When I audit your account, you get the same analysis I’d run if you were a paying client—because if your ads are set up right, I’ll tell you that too.

What you get:

This audit is yours to keep, no strings attached. Use it to fix things yourself, take it to your current agency, or work with me if it makes sense. Your call.

Campaign structure review (are you organized for performance or chaos?)
Keyword waste analysis (where your budget's bleeding)
Conversion tracking check (can you even measure ROI?)
Written report with prioritized fixes from the person who actually manages your account, not a sales rep

This Audit Is for You If...

You’re spending $1,000+ per month on Google Ads and not sure it’s working.

Clicks are happening. Spend is happening. But leads? Customers? That’s the question. If you can’t confidently say your Google Ads are profitable, you need an audit.

Your agency or freelancer won’t show you what’s actually happening.

They send you a dashboard with charts and colors, but when you ask “are we wasting money?”—crickets. If you don’t have full transparency into your account, something’s off.

You’re managing Google Ads yourself and feel like you’re guessing.

You set it up, it’s running, but you have no idea if your bid strategy makes sense or if you’re targeting the right keywords. DIY is great—but not when you’re spending blind.

You just inherited a Google Ads account and want to know if it’s a disaster.

New marketing role, took over from the last person, or bought a business with Google Ads already running? Get the audit before you spend another dollar on someone else’s mess.

What You Get in Your Free Google Ads Audit

This isn’t a 30-second automated tool scan. I personally review your account the same way I’d diagnose a client’s campaigns—then you get a written report breaking down exactly what I found.

Campaign Structure Review

Are your campaigns organized for performance, or did someone just throw everything into one campaign and hope? I'll show you if your structure is helping or hurting.

Keyword Analysis

Which keywords are burning budget on irrelevant clicks? Which high-performers are you under-bidding? I pull your actual search terms report and show you the waste.

Ad Copy Evaluation

Are your ads compelling enough to earn clicks from the right people? Or generic enough that you're attracting tire-kickers? I'll rate what's working and what's not.

Landing Page Assessment

Your ad might be perfect, but if your landing page doesn't convert, you're paying for nothing. I check the conversion path—does it leak or does it close?

Conversion Tracking Verification

Most small business Google Ads accounts can't even measure ROI because tracking isn't set up right. I'll tell you if you're flying blind.

Budget Efficiency Check

Where is your money actually going? I break down spend by campaign and show you if you're investing smart or just feeding Google's algorithm.

Competitor Snapshot

What are your competitors doing in Google Ads? I benchmark your performance and show you where you're winning (or getting crushed). Want the full competitive picture? See how paid and organic search work together.

Google Ads Audit Questions

If you’re wondering whether this audit is legit, what it costs, or what happens next—here’s the straight answer to every question I get.

Is This Audit Really Free?

Yes.

Zero cost.

No credit card, no “trial period”.

No bait-and-switch.

You get a real written report with real findings whether you hire me or not.

I do this because most small business owners have no idea if their Google Ads are set up right—and the people running them (agencies, freelancers, or the business owner themselves) aren’t always honest about what’s broken.

The audit gives you the truth.

What you do with that truth is up to you.

What Access Do You Need to My Google Ads Account?

Read-only access.

That’s it.

You grant temporary viewer permissions through Google Ads (takes 60 seconds).

I can see your campaigns, keywords, spend, and performance data—but I can’t change anything, pause anything, or touch your account in any way.

After the audit, you can revoke access instantly if you want.

You stay in full control.

How Long Does the Audit Take?

3-5 business days from the time you grant access to when you get the written report.

I’m not running your account through an automated tool and spitting out a generic PDF.

I’m personally reviewing every campaign, ad group, keyword, and bid strategy the same way I would for a paying client.

That takes time—but you get a real diagnosis, not a surface scan.

What Happens After the Audit?

We schedule a call and I walk you through the findings. I’ll explain what’s broken, what’s working, and what I’d prioritize if it were my account.

Then you decide what to do:

–Fix it yourself using the report (totally fine—I give you the roadmap)

–Take it to your current agency and make them explain why they missed this stuff

–Hire me for ongoing PPC management or SEO services if the audit makes sense and you want someone who actually cares about ROI.

No pressure. No 12-month contract trap. If we work together, it’s month-to-month. You can fire me anytime.

Will You Try to Sell Me Something?

Not during the audit.

I’ll give you the findings, walk you through what I found, and answer your questions.

If you ask “what would it cost to have you manage this?”—I’ll tell you.

But I’m not going to pitch you a $10K retainer on a call you booked for a free audit.

If your Google Ads are running fine, I’ll say that.

If they’re a mess and you want help fixing it, we can talk about PPC management.

But the audit itself? No sales pitch, no pressure.

What If My Google Ads Are Actually Fine?

Then I’ll tell you that.

If your campaigns are structured well, your keywords are tight, conversion tracking is solid, and you’re not bleeding budget—I’m not going to invent problems just to sell you management.

I’d rather tell you the truth and earn your trust for the future than BS you into a contract you don’t need.

How Is This Different from Automated Audit Tools?

Automated tools check surface-level metrics and spit out generic recommendations.

They can’t tell you why something’s broken or what to prioritize.

I personally review your account with 10+ years of hands-on Google Ads experience managing over $350K in annual spend.

I know what small business accounts look like when they’re set up right—and I know the 6-7 mistakes that burn 80% of the budget.

You get a human expert diagnosis, not a robot checklist.

I'm Running Google Ads But Why Isn't My Business Showing Up On Google Maps?

Your Google Business Profile is just as important as your ad campaigns for local lead generation.

If your GBP is unclaimed, incomplete, or collecting dust, you’re leaving local leads on the table — even while your ads run.

Check out our Google Maps optimization services to close that gap.

How Much Are You Wasting on Google Ads?

Answer a few questions about your account and I'll estimate where your budget might be leaking — based on the issues I see in 80%+ of the accounts I audit.

These estimates come from managing $350K+ in annual ad spend and auditing accounts across dozens of industries over 10+ years. Unlike generic calculators, your answers directly shape the results:

Quality Score (adjusted by bidding strategy + optimization frequency): Accounts that haven't been optimized recently tend to have lower Quality Scores (5/10 avg). Improving to 8/10 through better ad relevance and landing pages cuts CPC ~35%. Search campaigns with smart bidding (Max Conversions, Target CPA) partially compensate. Smart Campaigns get the heaviest penalty — they offer no control over ad relevance or landing page optimization.

Match type waste (adjusted by your match types + negative coverage): Exact/phrase match with active negatives is the cleanest setup — near zero waste. Broad match without negatives can waste 20%+ of your budget on irrelevant searches. Broad match paired with smart bidding and active negatives fares better, but still carries risk in most small business accounts. Smart Campaigns give you no keyword targeting control at all.

Negative keyword waste (adjusted by your management frequency): Active weekly management keeps waste around 3%. No management means ~20% of clicks are typically irrelevant. Smart Campaigns don't support negative keywords — there's no way to block bad traffic.

Conversion rate gap (adjusted by bidding strategy): If your conversion rate is below your industry benchmark, I calculate the opportunity cost. Max Conversions and Target CPA strategies get a reduction here since they actively optimize for conversions. Smart Campaigns don't get this discount — they claim to optimize but frequently deliver inflated CPAs.

When you select "Not Sure": I use moderate assumptions rather than worst-case. I'd rather underestimate waste than overstate it — your trust matters more than a scary number.

Your actual numbers depend on your specific account setup. The only way to know for sure is a detailed audit — which I do free, with zero obligation.
